10:07 pm	Question for fans of the Poinkcast Ok, folks, a couple of questions. One, for the Podcasts, I've now got things set up to do ID3 tags. It's an extra I need to add after all the other work, but if you guys would like that, will start doing it with the next podcasts. And two, I work on these things in batches. I've finished one and have another started that I plan to have ready for release tomorrow. The finished one, well, there are some jokes in it; but it's not really all that comical. I just kinda wanted to say things about George Carlin; who was one of my biggest influences and inspirations for doing comedy. 8:39 am	George Carlin, R.I.P. Wow. You read famous obituaries all the time, yet once in a while one truly stuns you. I've been a George Carlin fan ever since I first heard of the man. I think the very first album I heard was "What The Hell Am I Doing In New Jersey?" And then of course I had to hear the rest of his catalog, and see all the videos. I even got to see him in concert once. I'd be lying if I didn't say he was a big influence on my own comedy. Not just the material itself, but the man had a sense of timing that very few could touch. You could most always count on getting new wit and wisdom from the man in the first part of the year, most every year. And a guy who rarely recycled his own material, unless he found a new and always funny spin he could bring to it. And at least for me, he never disapointed. I guess it's so shocking cause you never stop to  think you'll actually hear the words George Carlin and dead in the same sentence, and now that it's happened, it's a punch to the gut. 11:57 pm	Room at the Omni Available! A friend of mine that was going to room with me at this year's AC is getting rid of her room. Unfortunately, I can't make it this year, getting laid off will do that,  and she needs to get rid of the room. The room is reserved for Fri eve through Sun eve, and it's at the Omni, so jump on it while you can. All my friend requires is her 125.00 deposit back, but whoever gets the room loses nothing; while gaining a room at the Omni. Thanks to all my friends for being there and bringing food, especially Liesel who's Oreo Tort gives me cavities just looking at it, but I can't resist it. And good to see everyone who was there; Harik, Raini, Herbie, Yappy, Mach, EB, Cooner, Colson,  and tons of others.
